2026 Summer Programs
World-Class Pre-Professional Ballet Training
BAMO’s first annual 2026 Summer Intensive is taking place July 6–31. This inaugural program marks a defining moment for classical ballet in Kansas City—introducing a new intensive rooted in the BAMO way, where tradition, musicality, and refined technique meet inspired artistry. Uniting world-class guest faculty with our world-class directors, this immersive experience is designed to elevate serious dancers, strengthen classical foundations, and set a powerful tone for the season ahead.
Dancers are encourage to attend all four weeks for maximum artistic and technical growth; however, weekly enrollment is accepted.
This summer, we are honored to welcome:
• Nilas Martins, former Principal Dancer with New York City Ballet and Balanchine and Bournonville répétiteur
• Nadia Thompson, graduate of The Royal Ballet School and former Soloist with Boston Ballet.
• Riccardo De Nigris, graduate of La Scala, Milan, and internationally recognized choreographer.

Space is extremely limited to ensure the highest level of individualized training:
• Level A: 10 dancers • Level B: 10 dancers • Levels C/D: 16 dancers
Our whimsical Summer Pre-Ballet Program invites young dancers into the magical world of classical ballet. Each week will explore a different beloved ballet—Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Giselle, and Sleeping Beauty—through ballet-themed classes designed especially for early learners. Dancers will move, listen, and imagine as they learn about each story through age-appropriate ballet technique, music, and creative expression, and will complete a themed craft each week to take home.
Tuition
Tuition is $120 for the full four-week session and includes your choice of either Wednesday or Friday.
Registration Fee
A $25 non-refundable registration fee is required to reserve your dancer’s spot.

Join Mr. Antonio for an energizing and supportive class designed for dancers of all levels. Build strength, flexibility, balance, and grace while enjoying classical ballet training in a welcoming environment. Whether you’re returning to ballet or trying it for the first time, this class is the perfect way to move, train, and stay inspired—the BAMO way.
Tuition
Tuition is $100 for the full session with your choice of Tuesday or Thursday.
Tuition is $180 for both classes.
2025–2026 punch cards are accepted.
Drop-in classes are available for $30 per class.
